Reading Skills for Successful Transition of ESL Learners

This session focuses on the gap between current instruction and skills needed for college and career successes. Participants learn strategies that utilize schema theory, text structure, and text dependent questions. They distinguish between types of text dependent questions. They also develop text dependent questions and reading tips.
