Current research suggests that vocabulary is perhaps the most important part of learning a second language. In this session, we will examine four main principles of vocabulary acquisition. Using examples from Pathways: Listening, Speaking and Critical Thinking, we will explore classroom strategies for ensuring effective vocabulary acquisition for your students.
