Influence of Pronunciation Monitoring on Affective Variables

The current study examined whether specific self- and peer- monitoring activities have a positive effect on pronunciation learning: namely, interest, confidence, and awareness toward their own pronunciation. The results show that the implementation of this particular monitoring activity changed the learners’ affective variables significantly.
