This presentation will explain some of the curricular and administrative strategies being used to optimize the program's long-term goals. It will describe how the college, as a whole, learns from and contributes to the Mexican exchange student community.

What's in a Name? Examining the Adoption of 'American' Names in the ESL Classroom
This presentation will critically examine the practice of adopting English names in the ESL classroom. The presenters will discuss social, cultural, and pedagogical implications of this practice, the effect it may have on the students, and discuss how technology can be used to better foster and respect students’ identities.
